About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Elementary Arabic II (ARB1912 Section D) during the 2027 Winter Semester in the Faculty of Arts, Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. The course is a continuation of ARB 1911, focusing on basic grammar, conversation, reading, and vocabulary acquisition through oral and written exercises. The course is in-person and has an expected enrollment of 35 students. Requirements

• Master's degree in Arabic or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching the Arabic language.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
• Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
• Canadian or permanent resident status (priority given).
