About The Position

As a Regrind Technician, you will maintain and handle all resins and all related equipment to ensure a food safe and quality product is provided. Requirements

  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 3:00 pm with some weekend/overtime involved
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • One to three months mechanical experience and/or related training
  • Must be certified in driving a forklift
  • Must be quality conscience and diligent on keeping resin contaminate free
  • Computer experience is a must
  • Ability to read and write and be able to comprehend detailed instructions
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers
  • Work overtime as necessary, based on production needs/demands
  • Must be flexible
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Work outside in the elements

Responsibilities

  • Unload bulk trucks and railcars into silos and maintain resin samples and documentation
  • Responsible for railcar switches and placement and communicates with railcar service
  • Responsible for tagging regrind / scrap in warehouse area and maintain proper inventories
  • Reporting daily inventory status of railcars silos and regrind
  • Responsible for completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists
  • Perform all grinder PM’s, blade changing and machine upkeep
  • Perform all vacuum pump system PM’s and filter changes
  • Perform all conveyor PM’s
  • Complete all PM’s in SAP
  • Maintain dust collector and all piping
  • Maintain and clean rail siding and silo area
  • Join with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality and scrap reduction
  • Be an active member of Clean Sweep Team
