The Registration Specialist provides excellent customer service and is responsible for accurate data collection and input into the clinic registration system. Key duties include obtaining necessary signatures on forms, issuing required notices to patients or family members, verifying insurance, identifying and securing certification requirements, and notifying supervisory personnel if authorization is needed but not on file. The role also involves thoroughly documenting pertinent account events, researching prior accounts, and scheduling patient appointments according to guidelines. This position requires demonstrating and encouraging team behavior, ensuring exceptional patient/guest experiences, and upholding patient safety and quality standards.
