Registration Scheduling Specialist
About The Position
As a Registration Scheduling Specialist at Paoli Hospital, you will be an integral member of the organization and one of the first points of contact for new patients, making a crucial first impression. You will collect and capture accurate patient data while providing excellent, empathetic customer service. As an ambassador for patients, you will help them understand their financial responsibility, services available to them, and more. This role requires engaging communication skills to interact with nursing staff, other departments, physician offices, medical offices, and the general public to provide outstanding service. Requirements
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of registration experience in a medical setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of insurance and third party reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Collect and capture accurate patient data.

- Schedule patient appointments and registrations.
