About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody excellence, compassion, teamwork and purpose to join our Metro Hospital Patient Access leadership team in the role of RCS Manager. This position is responsible for leading Revenue Cycle operations for all assigned Revenue Cycle Services teams. Provides departmental administrative decision making, leadership, and strategic planning, including the efficient and productive use of personnel and other financial resources. Ensures high quality standardized work processes that result in consistent outcomes that compare favorably with relevant national benchmarks. The incumbent must possess strong subject matter expertise and leadership in order to support a diverse and complex operating environment and span of control. The System Patient Access Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for Outpatient, Inpatient, and Emergency Department Registration, ensuring a seamless and compassionate access experience for every patient, every day. This leader is deeply committed to creating an exceptional patient experience by making registration processes easy, efficient, and patient-centered. Requirements

  • Requires strong knowledge of business and reimbursement management.
  • Requires demonstrable knowledge of healthcare billing terminology concepts and processes.
  • Requires the ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.

Nice To Haves

  • An undergraduate degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience with hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
