About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registration Event Technology Product Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing training materials and operational best practices while serving as a subject matter expert in Cvent. You will help expand the team’s platform knowledge, explore innovative solutions, and push the capabilities of the technology as new updates, enhancements, and evolving client needs continue to emerge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in Cvent registration services who is looking to develop their career by delivering innovative solutions that drive success for both our team and clients. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to support product innovation, contribute to sales initiatives, and enhance our internal service offerings. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with technology, passionate about user experience, highly self-motivated, and exceptionally detail oriented. They should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong accountability and ownership of individual responsibilities and long-term projects are essential. Success in this role requires the ability to adapt quickly, manage shifting priorities, and perform effectively under tight deadlines and evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a professional office environment, including 5+ years in meeting and event technology.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building registration solutions within Cvent.
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, databases, and event technology platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and the broader Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in product management focused on enhancing and scaling event technology solutions to meet evolving client and industry needs.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic recommendations tailored to clients and event goals.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including exceptional proofreading and attention to detail.
  • Passion for emerging technologies, industry trends, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify process improvements, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and updating SOPs and operational best practices.
  • Ability to foster accountability and continuous learning within the team to ensure alignment with evolving event technology trends and platform updates.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support client events both onsite and virtually.

Nice To Haves

  • HTML experience for troubleshooting and customizing event sites is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine training materials, SOPs, and operational processes to ensure the team is equipped with effective tools, workflows, and best practices.
  • Lead the rollout and adoption of new updates, features, and processes related to Cvent, registration platforms, and integrated event technologies.
  • Partner with the sales team by supporting RFP responses, recommending event technology solutions, and addressing client-specific registration and platform questions.
  • Maintain and update Cvent sandbox environments and demo sites to ensure showcases reflect the latest platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Research emerging event technology trends, tools, and innovations to help maintain a competitive edge and proactively respond to evolving client needs.
  • Independently manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables while demonstrating strong initiative and accountability.
  • Oversee quality assurance and testing for registration sites prior to launch, ensuring backend configurations, workflows, and standards are accurate and optimized.
  • Support the build and execution of complex registration sites for marquee clients and large-scale programs while providing guidance and assistance to team members as needed.
