About The Position

At Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, we are focused on delivering quality patient care. Our Registration Department is currently seeking a full time Registration Coordinator to deliver care that is second-to-none, in our high volume-fast paced practice.

Requirements

• Experience in front desk reception and/or patient registration within a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
• Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience coordinating and managing employee schedules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate weekly and daily staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across all clinics
• Handel all staff call-ins and adjust schedules accordingly
• Reassign staff to different clinic locations to address staffing shortages as needed
• Perform patient registration duties
• Assist with lead audit reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy in registration processes.
• Collaborate with the registration Supervisor to ensure all reports are current and accurate.
• Review employee time clocks for accuracy and compliance.
• Review and process PTO requests and maintain registration time-off calendars.
• Conduct training for both new hires and existing staff as needed.
• Provide corrective coaching and retraining to address performance issues.
• Oversee and complete new hire onboarding checklists.
