Registrar at Eye Surgery Center of Nashville As a Registrar, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and their families. Your role is instrumental in creating a positive impression and ensuring that all administrative tasks are efficiently managed. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
Previous front desk/registration experience in a healthcare setting is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.
Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
Longevity in past roles.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients and their families, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Register patients accurately, verify insurance information, and update patient records.
Answer patient inquiries and provide information regarding the surgery process and financial aspects.
Ensure that all necessary forms and consents are completed and signed by patients.
Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to facilitate a smooth patient intake process.
Assist with scheduling and appointment coordination as needed.
