About The Position

The Registrar Specialist is responsible for assisting the Registrar’s Office Staff with all functions of the Registrar’s Office. The Registrar Specialist also serves as a liaison and accuracy coordinator of transfer credit between Admissions Counselors and the Registrar’s Office. Requirements

  • Associate Degree
  • Ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing process and primary input of transcripts and transfer credit
  • Assisting with administratively identifying graduates through various processes, facilitating correspondence outreach, and verifying graduates
  • Assisting the Registrar with disaggregating graduation data
  • Assisting with CFNC (College Foundation of North Carolina) website, transcript, and application maintenance
  • Processing admissions requirements for the Allied Health programs and communicating with respective areas
  • Assisting with CCP Application processing
  • Assisting with scanning of daily processes and archived files
  • Assisting with Registration, Schedule Adjustment, and graduation duties as may be assigned
  • Assisting with error report corrections
  • Providing back-up support to Registrar Clerk in times of high volume with application processing
  • Keeping accurate Student records
  • Coordinating and facilitating the admissions requirements process for Allied Health programs
  • Maintaining the technical competencies necessary to the job function
  • Performing other duties as may be assigned
  • Assisting other Registrar’s Office Staff to resolve workflow issues and serving as back-up for phone/visitors during times of high volume
  • Assisting Faculty and Staff with CIS questions and issues
  • Providing other clerical support for the Office as assigned
