Alameda County's Temporary Assignment Pool (TAP) Unit and the Alameda County Registrar of Voters (ROV) are seeking temporary staff to support the upcoming November 3, 2026 - General Election. Candidates who are fluent in English and one of the following languages are strongly encouraged to apply: Chinese, Hindi, Mongolian, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. The Registrar of Voters is currently hiring for ten (10) different roles to support the upcoming election. The mission of the ROV is to seek better ways to provide services and to encourage all eligible residents to exercise their right to vote; conduct elections in a fair, accurate and efficient manner; maintain a continuous professional level of service to the public; and develop new techniques to improve outreach services which acknowledge the diversity of Alameda County. All services provided by the ROV are mandated by the California Elections Code, the California Government Code, and the California Constitution. These mandated services include voter registration, voter outreach, candidate services, elections services, and vote by mail.
