About The Position

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a reputed healthcare organization in Manchester, TN and is looking to hire a Patient Registration Clerk to support accurate and timely patient registration within the Emergency Department and/or Outpatient Registration Office. In this role, you will play an important part in creating a smooth registration experience for patients while supporting physicians, families, and healthcare professionals with professionalism and exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in patient registration, healthcare, or customer service preferred

Responsibilities

Register patients accurately and efficiently in the medical information system
Obtain and verify required patient demographic and registration information
Follow established registration policies, procedures, and departmental guidelines
Provide professional and courteous service to patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and complete patient registration records
Protect patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Support registration activities within the Emergency Department and/or Outpatient Registration Office
Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and process improvement efforts
Support innovative changes designed to improve departmental operations and patient experiences
Participate in required training, educational opportunities, and professional development activities
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team
Perform additional duties as assigned
