About The Position
Eagle Hill Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join their team in Mission. This is a busy, high-functioning practice that values a positive work culture, work-life balance, and offers opportunities for professional growth. The hospital operates 7 days a week and is looking for a team member with excellent weekend availability. While starting as a part-time weekend role, there is potential to evolve into a full-time position with opportunities to pick up weekday shifts. The RVT will focus on utilizing their skills in patient care, working alongside experienced veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and receptionists in a supportive environment. The facility includes 5 exam rooms, 3 treatment tables, and a dedicated surgery suite for dental procedures.
Requirements
- Must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE.
- Must be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association.
- Successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.
- Ability to work weekend shifts, preferably Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities
- Assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
- Uses a range of diagnostic equipment.
- Prepares patients, instruments and equipment for surgery.
- Administers and monitors medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.
- Builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets.
- Is respectful in all interactions.
- Provides exceptional customer service.
