About The Position

Uniacke Lakes Animal Hospital is seeking Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) to join their growing team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. They welcome new graduates and encourage a passion for learning and compassionate care for companion animals. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and is dedicated to providing high-quality medicine and exceptional customer service, treating clients like family. The role involves a balanced work-life schedule with no on-call duties, overnight shifts, Sundays, or holidays required.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) qualification
• Knowledge of physical examinations
• Knowledge of patient assessment
• Knowledge of catheter placement
• Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring
• Knowledge of radiology
• Knowledge of venipuncture
• Knowledge of pharmacy
• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
• Passion to learn more within the role
• A love for all companion animals
