We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves cats and being part of a fun, supportive team. Cats Only Veterinary Hospital aims to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their felines and our patients with excellent and compassionate medical care. Requirements
- 1+ year of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician
- Veterinary Technician Certification required - or eligibility to obtain California license within 3 months of hire.
- Experience rooming patients
- Surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used
- Dental experience
- Placing IV catheters
- Drawing blood and running bloodwork
- Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
- Experience with proper feline handling and restraint
- Understanding the importance of client education
- Being a positive and motivating team member
