About The Position
Delton Veterinary Hospital in Edmonton, AB is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team part-time. This is a progressive veterinary practice that treats small animals, avian species, and pocket pets. The ideal candidate will be dependable and team-oriented, with opportunities to take on new roles and expand their skills. The clinic values new ideas and growth, having recently completed the cat-friendly program and exploring fear-free courses. The Registered Veterinary Technician will play a vital role, working collaboratively with doctors and a dedicated Technical Assistant. The clinic is equipped with advanced technology, including digital dental and general X-ray machines, computerized software, an in-house Idexx laboratory, an exotics-only examination room, a cat-only examination room, ultrasound, and an endoscope. In addition to assisting doctors, the technician will also conduct tech appointments. The role offers the chance to contribute to ongoing renovation efforts and practice enhancement.
Requirements
- Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician Diploma
- Passed the VTNE or will soon be passing the VTNE
- Good standing with their provincial regulatory association
- Team oriented mindset
- Personable and engaging personality
- Driven by their career and open to learning new skills
- Passionate in various fields within the clinic
