About The Position

Fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for Relief work to join our AMAZING and FRIENDLY team at VCA A Breed Apart. VCA A Breed Apart is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our AAHA-accredited, 5-doctor practice in Pasadena, California. Position available for a full-time, experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Responsibilities require proficiency in Phlebotomy, IV Catheter Placement, as well as stress-free handling, digital radiography, administration of vaccines, and medications. The ideal candidate will also possess great attendance, client communication skills, superior customer service skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work in a great team atmosphere. Requirements

Must have documented previous Animal Hospital experience
Animal Handling
Anesthesia monitoring
Capable of being cross-trained for front office receptionist duties that will be expected in the job
Must be friendly, outgoing, “People-oriented.”
Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
Customer service skills, including Phone skills
Working knowledge of computers
Excellent communications skills
Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
