About The Position

VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists is seeking an enthusiastic experienced credentialed veterinary technician to join our growing Supervisor team full time! (LVT, CVT, RVT). Working together to create effective, fulfilled teams, happy healthy hospitals, and overall career satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Candidates must be positive and motivated. The hospital team meets frequently, and your ideas and suggestions are encouraged to help us continue to grow. Requirements

Credentialed veterinary technician (LVT, CVT, RVT)
5 years of experience
Licensure status (RVT, VTS)
Believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care
Expertise and technical know-how
Positive and motivated
Determination to rise above obstacles
Ability to wear multiple hats
Ability to work as a team

Responsibilities

Full Technician Skill Utilization
Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
Coaching associates based on need to aid in their success
Some regional travel required
Facilitate communication of ideas, policies, standards and performance
Provide feedback related to associate performance, and collaborate with leadership to develop performance improvement plans
Support associates in their career via VTNE guidance, licensure guidance, and scheduling
Maintain skill efficiency and knowledge

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour based on skill set, 5 years of experience, and licensure status (RVT, VTS)
