About The Position

VetStrategy is a network of veterinary practices across Canada dedicated to healthy animals and happy owners. Orono Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join their collaborative small-animal practice. This role emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, and professional growth in a supportive environment. The position offers hands-on experience in various hospital areas, a healthy work-life balance with a full-time schedule (35-40 hours/week) and no weekend shifts. The hospital is a welcoming general practice in Orono, Ontario, known for its strong community ties and commitment to giving back through events like the annual Bow Wow Palooza fundraiser for their Oscar Fund. Upcoming renovations and the addition of dental radiography will enhance patient care. RVTs will have opportunities to develop technical and nursing skills by working with sick and urgent-care patients alongside an experienced team.

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation or eligibility for registration in Ontario.
