About The Position

Veritas Veterinary Partners is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician to join their Internal Medicine team. This role involves acting as a direct extension of the Internists, supporting outstanding patient and client care through collaboration. Responsibilities include client communication regarding diagnostic results and procedures, guiding patient management, and coordinating/assisting with diagnostic and procedural tasks. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of common Internal Medicine conditions and a passion for continued learning. Opportunities for training in advanced interventional radiology procedures are available.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician
  • Experience with anesthesia
  • Knowledge of disease process and common ailments seen
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments
  • Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.

  • All current positions require the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with endoscopy is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a direct extension of Internists, working collaboratively to support outstanding patient and client care.
  • Communicate with clients, sharing diagnostic results and discussing procedures as directed by the Internist.
  • Help guide both short- and long-term patient management.
  • Coordinate and assist with a wide range of diagnostic and procedural tasks.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy (urinary, respiratory, gastrointestinal), bone marrow sampling, joint taps, and feeding tube placements.
  • Receive training in advanced interventional radiology procedures, such as laser ablation of ectopic ureters and lithotripsy.
