About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician for their growing emergency service. This is a fast-paced, full-time position with the potential to work in tandem with specialty services. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in both ICU and ER/Triage and a passion for mentoring and training co-workers. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within a dedicated team of veterinary nurses.

Requirements

Registered Veterinary Technician
Experience in both ICU and ER/Triage desired.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.
Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

Triage and obtain patient history
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
