About The Position

As a Vascular Tech, you will prepare patients and perform specific vascular and ultrasound diagnostic procedures. Vascular ultrasound studies include gray scale, color flow, power Doppler, Doppler, and duplex techniques. You will enter data, report completion of reading physician assignments, and communicate urgent results. You will also teach vascular ultrasound students, residents, and fellows and serve as a resource to other support staff. Requirements

Associate degree in Applied Science or a related field that supports certification.
One year of experience in a vascular lab or equivalent, including a clinical externship through an academic program.
Registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI); if not registered at hire, obtain registration within six months of hire.
CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience working independently in a vascular lab.
