Up to $30,000 new hire sign on bonus and up to $7,000 in relocation assistance is available. This is for a weekend position working Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-7:00pm. Rotating on-call. Requirements

Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required.
RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography.
ARDMS or CCI.
CPR certification required.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.

ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas depending on department: OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography.
RDCS or RCS plus specialties AE-Adult Echocardiography, FE-Fetal Echocardiography, PE-Pediatric Echocardiography or RN plus one additional certification either ARDMS or CCI.
RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography with one additional registry that is used to perform job duties on a regular basis.
AHA BLS-HCP required.
Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate proficiency with skills and knowledge to perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations, assess technical data and provide preliminary results, and assist in the interpretation of exams
Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served.
Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images according to ACR standards.
Processes patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills.
Evaluates, positions and observes patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety.
Complies with all CHS and Imaging policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Participates in the training of students and staff as assigned.
Maintains ARDMS registry by obtaining required CEUs bi-annually.
Enhances personal and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities.
