About The Position

The Registered Nurse protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of RN licensure and collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to coordinate care across the continuum. The RN assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains a professional disposition. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED works in hospital units that provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State Board of Nursing in the appropriate state of Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification before the employment start date.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Basic proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft applications.
