About The Position

This person will be responsible for performing respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided. As an RRT, you will perform respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. You will deliver and delegate respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients that demonstrates both knowledge of facts and sound judgement. You will chart precise and specific observations via Focus Charting, patient assessments, and complete all forms accurately and timely (Flow sheets, e-MARs). You will identify and appropriately utilize a multidisciplinary approach to facilitate the delivery of care. You will seek knowledge in relation to the patient’s condition, disease entity or treatment and reflect this in patient care and documentation and team conferences.

Requirements

• HS graduate or equivalent, graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through NBRC
• Licensed in the state of PA or valid temporary license and Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Certified in BLS.
