About The Position

The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and acuity levels, including patients in a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role requires strong critical-care and ventilator skills, along with experience caring for neonatal and pediatric patients.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night. Rotating call, weekend coverage, and holiday coverage are required. An immediate start is available. Furnished studio apartments for travelers may be available near the facility; they include Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry. Pets are not allowed, and no deposit is required.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Exceptional critical-care and ventilator skills.
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric patients, including familiarity with a Level 2 NICU.
• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; CRT certification is not accepted.
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program as required for licensure.
• A valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Experience as a traveler; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Proof of current flu vaccination, submitted during the application process.
