About The Position
Piedmont Macon Medical is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a PRN night position. The role performs patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, equipment maintenance and management, and patient education.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
- No experience required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and a Georgia license from the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 days.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments.
- Perform general respiratory care procedures and protocols.
- Perform critical care procedures in adult care areas.
- Conduct blood gas analysis.
- Maintain and manage equipment.
- Educate patients.
