About The Position

Salem Hospital is a 371 licensed bed facility that has 220 Med/ Surg beds, MICU, ED, Labor and Delivery, a Level 2B Nursery, etc. This position is for the Respiratory unit and requires 36 hours per week, with night shifts and every other weekend rotation. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services in an acute care setting.

Requirements

• 2 years of working experience in one location.
• 1 to 2 years of working experience as a Traveler.
• Ventilator experience in an acute care setting.
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases.
• RRT certification.
• Active MA Respiratory Therapist License.

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelors degree in respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in an acute care setting.
• Draw arterial blood gases.
• Operate and manage ventilators including PB980 and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator.
