About The Position
Newberry Health is seeking a dedicated PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift to join our collaborative and patient-focused care team. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides high-quality, compassionate respiratory care to patients across a variety of clinical settings. This role supports night operations by delivering critical cardiopulmonary services while working closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- CPR / BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- PALS certification
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a cardiopulmonary and/or acute care clinical setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based practices
- Perform all assigned clinical duties within the Respiratory Therapy Department
- Monitor, assess, and respond to patient respiratory needs in acute care environments
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the department coordinator
