About The Position
Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care in various departments within a critical access hospital. This position involves working on a day shift schedule with the potential for holiday and weekend rotation.
Requirements
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage in multiple departments, including: Emergency Room, Outpatient EKG, Holter Monitors, 6-Minute Stress Walks, Night Oximetry Setup, Acute Floor
- Administer breathing treatments
- Implement Incentive Spirometry
- Utilize Metered-Dose Inhalers (MDI)
- Conduct Chest Physiotherapy (CPT)
- Manage emergency ventilation devices in use: Philips EV300, Philips Trilogy 202, High Flow Delivery Devices, Air Vo Units
