About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves working 3x12-hour night shifts. The therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across all age groups (neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric). Key responsibilities include assessing respiratory conditions, administering treatments, managing ventilators, and responding to respiratory emergencies. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team is essential for delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilator management
• Experience with ABGs
• Experience with critical care
• Strong assessment skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

• Current NRP certification
• Current PALS certification
