You will perform diagnostic testing, therapeutic procedures, and ventilator management while closely monitoring patient response and supporting critical patient outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of recent acute-care Respiratory Therapist experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential – NBRC
Active State Respiratory Therapist License
Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate degree or equivalent)
BCLS – within 30 days of hire
ACLS – within 6 months
PALS – within 6 months
NRP – within 6 months

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments including breath sounds, airway patency, and ventilatory status
Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy needs
Administer respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Assist with placement and management of artificial airways
Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical and non-invasive ventilation
Monitor patient response to therapy and intervene when necessary
Accurately document treatments and patient progress
Assist with safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients
Respond to emergency situations and assist with airway management and resuscitation
