About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Great Falls Clinic Hospital Respiratory Care Manager, the respiratory therapist provides services to those patients with disorders of the cardiopulmonary system to include diagnostic testing, therapeutics, support, monitoring, patient assessment and patient education.

Requirements

• Licensure from the State of Montana Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners
• Credentialing as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Knowledge of general respiratory care processes, procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of applicable rules and regulations of Federal and State regulatory agencies as well as GFCH general and departmental policies
• Knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement procedures and current projects
• Knowledge of safety and infection control regulations and recommendations
