About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Therapy team. This role involves providing therapeutic respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings, ensuring optimal respiratory function and assisting with life-saving interventions. The RRT will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on both adult and pediatric populations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience required.
• New York State Respiratory Therapy License (NY is not a compact state).
• BLS , ACLS , NRP , and PALS certifications required.
• EPIC experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients with various pulmonary conditions.
• Administer respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosolized medications.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.
• Assist with life support measures, including intubation and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Use the EPIC charting system for accurate patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
