About The Position

Requirements

• RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS – Basic Life Support
• Active SC state license required
• 1+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Experience working in acute care and respiratory diagnostic settings
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy practices, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and diagnostic tests

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care treatments, therapies, and procedures in accordance with physician orders
• Perform diagnostic tests and manage patient ventilators and airway devices
• Assess, monitor, and adjust respiratory therapy treatments based on patient condition
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and outcomes
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory care and management
• Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate respiratory intervention
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system
