Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.
Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science Degree from an accredited school of Respiratory Care.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist License with the Texas Medical Board and the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- ACLS certification.
- Current PALS and NRP certifications within 6 months of employment.

- Previous experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of personalized, professional, and quality patient care
- Internal and external customer service
- Performance of all therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
- Emergency airway/respiratory management
- Documentation of the procedures performed and their effect
- Cleaning and performing user service on equipment
- Preparation of all departmental paperwork
- Entering and retrieving patient information from the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Maintain the work area in a clean organized manner
