Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• Experience with mechanical ventilation management required
• Airway management and ABG analysis experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active New Jersey Respiratory Care License required
• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and cardiopulmonary care under physician direction
• Perform ventilator setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and management
• Assist with airway management and intubation procedures
• Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and respiratory assessments
• Provide diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic care for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory treatments and disease management
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and patient education
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety regulations, and clinical standards
