About The Position

Evaluate and assess patients with acute or chronic respiratory difficulties and treat with high quality care.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of respiratory care
• Must be registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Must possess current state license as a Respiratory Care professional
• CPR certification required
• ACLS, NRP required
• BLS is expected at renewal.

Nice To Haves

• PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide basic respiratory care including: Assessment, O2, and BPH.
• Perform arterial puncture, interpretation and analysis.
• Perform set up, safety check, monitoring, and troubleshooting of mechanical ventilators.
• Perform setup, safety check, monitoring, and troubleshooting of non invasive ventilation.
• Attend required safety trainings and mandatory organizational lectures.
• Perform other hospital related duties as required.
• Perform all respiratory related duties and function in emergency setting.
• Perform all respiratory related duties and function in emergency setting with neonatal.
• Perform all respiratory related duties and function in emergency setting with pediatrics.
• Perform all respiratory related duties and function in critical care setting.
