About The Position
The Sexual Health Nurse is an advanced clinical practice nurse in the study of Sexual Health and Wellness. The Sexual Health Nurse requires skill in collaborative multidisciplinary consultation with regional physicians, MHO's and other provincial health organizations - NITHA/FINHB. The position will ensure seamless coordination of testing, treatment protocols, contact tracing and reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required
- Nursing experience in STI or blood borne pathogens in clinical/community setting
- Experience with marginalized populations in a health-related field
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate (TDG)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
Nice To Haves
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
