Registered Practical Nurse RPN Part Time (7am - 3pm | 30 Hours Bi-weekly)

Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
- Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required.
- Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.
- Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers.
- Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care.
Responsibilities
- Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards.
- Act as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, building trusted relationships with residents, families, and teams through continuous and effective communication.
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making changes as required.
- Complete and ensure resident's clinical care assessments, care plans, and documentation are accurate and up-to-date, communicating changes as required.
- Teach, delegate, and direct unregulated care providers, providing them with coaching and mentorship.
