About The Position

Humber River Health is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join their Surgical Day Care team within the Surgical Program. This is a temporary part-time position with an employment duration until April 2027, subject to change. The role requires flexibility to work staggered shifts between 06:30 and 21:30 hrs, Monday to Friday, including days, afternoons, and evenings. Requirements

  • Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program.
  • Current Registered Practical Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent surgical experience required
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Demonstrated good organizational skills and problem solving skills required.
  • Demonstrated good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with a variety of staff, patients and visitors
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
