About The Position

Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across Canada & the U.S. They are looking for experienced RPNs who are ready to step out of a high-pressure hospital or traditional clinic setting and into a role built around autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connection. This role is not a traditional nursing role and focuses on independent work with a network of clinical leadership for support. Travel medicine is a specialty where nurses develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. Every client interaction is a true consultation.

Requirements

  • Active RPN license in good standing in working province
  • 1+ years of clinical nursing experience
  • Comfortable working independently - you won't always have backup in the clinic
  • Strong patient communication and education skills
  • Reliable access to a personal computer (training systems require desktop or laptop)
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet)
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory as needed (up to 25 lbs)
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Intermittent physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting and supporting patients
  • Moves and restructures organization of storage room to make space for new inventory
  • Access to a reliable vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • Travel medicine background a plus, not required
  • Are adaptable - comfortable shifting gears between high-volume and consultative modes
  • Want the range of both clinic types without switching locations
  • Are reliable for weekend coverage and flexible with scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth travel health consultations and educate clients on destination-specific risks
  • Administer vaccines per standing orders and monitor for adverse reactions
  • Recommend and promote travel health products and medications as clinically appropriate
  • Manage clinic setup, inventory, and compliance with safety and documentation protocols
  • Support onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events as needed
  • Complete ongoing travel medicine training
