Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - Casual - Forest Trail

This position is for our Forest Trail Home, located in 514 Deline St. Peterborough, ON K9K 1T3. This position starts as casual in our Peterborough LTC home and will transition to full time / part time at our new Forest Trail LTC home in Summer of 2026.
Requirements
- Current registration with provincial College of Nurses
- Compassion, professionalism, and respect
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Must possess strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination, time management and customer focus skills
- Must maintain competencies as per the governing College standards
- Skills in use of computer and Microsoft Office applications
- Current (within 3 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS)
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, review and evaluate resident care plans
- Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work
- Assist in orienting and training new team members
