About The Position
VON Canada is seeking an empathetic, adaptable, and skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a temporary, part-time (0.6 FTE) position focused on pediatric school care in the London and Middlesex-Elgin areas. This role operates during the school calendar year (September to June), with an option for renewal. The successful candidate will provide holistic, person-centred care to children and youth, working autonomously and practicing to their full scope. VON Canada is a not-for-profit organization with over 125 years of experience in home and community care, dedicated to helping individuals live healthier, happier lives.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice
- Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
