Jean Tweed CentreToronto, ON
CA$34 - CA$40Onsite

About The Position

Jean Tweed is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting women with substance use, mental health, and gambling concerns. Our client-centered approach recognizes the diverse experiences of women and addresses a range of life issues that may contribute to these concerns. The Jean Tweed Centre is expanding its capacity to enhance support for women facing substance use, mental health, and gambling challenges. The Integrated Care Initiative at Broadview offers comprehensive services including withdrawal management support, an intensive substance use program, and transitional housing specifically designed for women. All services are co-located in Toronto for seamless transitions within a continuum of care. The Broadview program includes a live-in treatment program with a 4-bed withdrawal supportive stay component for women transitioning to the intensive substance use live-in treatment, as well as an aftercare supportive stay component. The withdrawal management supportive stay beds provide women-specific withdrawal supports in a community setting for clients transitioning to the live-in treatment program or other Jean Tweed Centre services. This program offers non-acute withdrawal management for clients who can be safely supported in a community setting and do not require intensive medical withdrawal management. This role reports to the Manager, Mental Health and Substance Use.
