About The Position

Access Healthcare Services Inc. is looking for RPNs and RNs with a passion for home and community care to join our growing team and support the Rockland area.

Requirements

Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with CNO
Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
Vehicle required with valid driver’s license
Car insurance with a liability of $2 million
Valid CPR
Step 2 TB Test (Completed within the last 2 years)
Vulnerable Sector Police Check (less than 3 months old)
Excellent assessment, documentation, verbal, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

1 year community nursing experience preferred but not essential
New graduates are welcome to apply
Bilingualism considered an asset

Responsibilities

Provide in-home, high quality client centered care
Complete comprehensive client assessments to develop collaborative, holistic care planning
Works to the full scope of practice as outlined by the CNO Professional Standards and AHS policies and procedures
Upholds the mission, vision and values of AHS
Adheres to infection, prevention & control measures and nursing best practice standards
Participates in ongoing continuing education and professional development
Reports, consults and collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary health care team
Participates in the on-call nursing rotation
