About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Gravette, Arkansas, is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) to join its Respiratory department. The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, under the direction of the Cardiopulmonary Manager, will perform comprehensive Polysomnography testing and analysis, along with associated interventions as outlined in OCH policy 710.300.022. This role requires a high level of quality patient care within the sleep lab and healthcare setting. The technologist will also assist the department manager in coordinating the smooth functioning of the department, provide technical support in all departmental activities, and serve as a role model for trainees and technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists is required
• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive Polysomnography testing and analysis.
• Performs associated interventions as listed in OCH policy 710.300.022.
• Demonstrates a high level of quality patient care as it relates to the sleep lab and healthcare.
• Assists the department manager in coordinating the smooth function of the department.
• Provides technical support in all departmental activities.
• Serves as a role model for trainees and technicians.
