Registered Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in his/her professional responsibilities in providing pharmacy services. They work under the direction of a licensed pharmacist and participate in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and return of patient-specific medications, including intravenous admixtures. The role involves supplying and maintaining automated technology equipment, packaging unit of use dosages, and maintaining and transporting pharmaceuticals. Additionally, the technician performs tasks associated with regulatory compliance, documents activities as indicated, and carries out other required duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee in Pennsylvania
