About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lakeview, OR. This position involves evaluating, planning, and providing treatment to patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and restore physical function. The therapist will work with family and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year experience preferred
  • Must have thorough knowledge of therapy procedures, current orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures, and rehabilitation practices.
  • Bachelor of Science or master’s degree in physical therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Must have necessary requisites for licensure as a Occupational Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health.
  • Current valid Oregon driver’s license required.
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, plans and provides treatment upon referral of physician.
  • Treats patients with disabilities, disorders and injuries to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function by the use of exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity or sound.
  • Works with family and health team members regarding patient’s abilities and goals.
