About The Position

This is a part time (22.5 hours/week) on-site role for a bedside nurse in the Day Hospital, a unit for same day procedures across the lifespan and infusions for children. The nurse will be responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients across the lifespan in infusion and pre- and post-procedure phases of care. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, keeping records, consulting with healthcare providers, and educating patients.

Requirements

Bedside nurse experience
Experience in a Day Hospital setting
Experience with infusions
Experience with pediatric patients

Responsibilities

Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
Records patient vital signs and medical information.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
