Direct Care Registered Nurse - Recovery Room
About The Position
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for its Recovery Room in Woodbridge, Virginia. The position is full-time and works the first (day) shift. The nurse’s primary duties include assessing and admitting patients, conducting rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and providing overall patient care. The role works as part of a collaborative team focused on patient care. Sentara offers opportunities to develop nursing skills across specialties and pursue leadership or advancement in different care settings. Candidates must hold a Virginia or Compact Multi-State license in good standing and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire. An RN associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, diploma, or master’s degree is accepted, and one year of experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Assess and admit patients.
